01. How to delete your account

You can delete your Tropic Trade account directly from the app at any time. Follow these steps:

1. 1. Open the Tropic Trade app and go to your Profile.
2. 2. Tap Settings (the gear icon in the top-right corner).
3. 3. Select Account Information.
4. 4. Tap Delete Account at the bottom of the screen.
5. 5. Confirm your decision when prompted.

02. What happens when you delete your account

Once you confirm deletion, the following happens immediately:

• Your profile, listings, reviews and ratings are permanently removed.
• Active conversations are deleted and can no longer be accessed.
• Your wallet balance is forfeited — please withdraw any funds before deleting.
• You will be logged out of all devices immediately.
• This action cannot be undone.

03. What data we retain

To comply with legal and financial regulations, certain records are retained for a limited period after deletion:

• Transaction records — kept for up to 6 years as required by financial regulations.
• Fraud prevention data — basic identifiers may be retained to protect the community.

All other personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.

04. Before you go

A few things to consider before deleting:

• Complete all active transactions — in-progress trades will be cancelled.
• Withdraw your wallet balance — funds cannot be recovered after deletion.
• Save important conversations — chat history will be permanently lost.
