Your information is used to operate the marketplace: matching buyers with sellers, powering secure Conversations, processing and tracking transactions, and preventing fraud. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

All payments and sensitive data are encrypted in transit. Conversations happen inside the app so personal contact details are never exposed. Verified profiles, community ratings, and transaction tracking help ensure every deal is safe and accountable.

09. The Escrow System & Fund Protection
To guarantee a scam-free environment, Tropic Trade operates a secure escrow system. When a buyer pays for a physical item or a local service, their money is safely held by our platform. Funds are only released to the seller's balance once the buyer successfully verifies receipt of the goods or completion of the service.
10. Secure Payments & Payouts
Any platform fees or premium subscriptions used to maintain our infrastructure are processed using industry-standard encryption. Once a trade is verified complete, seller payouts are instantly processed and can be securely withdrawn directly to a verified bank account or digital wallet.
11. International & Cross-Border Safety
As Tropic Trade connects users across different locations, we ensure your data is handled according to regional cross-border privacy standards. Users engaging in cross-border trades are entirely responsible for adhering to local import/export regulations, custom duties, and shipping laws required by their respective locations.
